Gamma Group operates on the primary principle: Trust. We rigorously work to uphold trust across our stakeholders - from our clients and employees, and the local communities in which we operate. For over 20 years, we have developed a specialised aptitude in reviving assets that have provided significant value to local economies but have shut down for a number of reasons. Gamma Group aims to ensure that the resources and institutions people rely on remain dependable.

Instead of a grand vision, the company began with a resolution. Two decades ago, a local mine known as ‘Gamma Iron’ was set to close due to operational difficulties. For the hundreds of workers employed there, this meant a sudden loss of livelihood.

Maruti P. Bauskar was running a mining equipment rental business at the time and saw a need to intervene. He stepped in to take responsibility for the company to prevent the collapse of the local micro-economy. He believed that a business belongs to the people who work for it. His role was to facilitate the work that keeps those families secure.

That incident planted the seeds of our organization's core speciality - Asset Revival. We identify stalled projects like mines, plants, or facilities, and collaborate with local stakeholders to make them functional again.

We value assets for their potential, often acquiring them at full price to ensure fairness to the previous owners. In the early years, when processes were still being refined, it was our diligence that bridged the gap. We focused on reliability and meeting our commitments, which is how we earned the trust of partners like Hindalco, ACC, and Ultratech Cement.

Solving Problems for the Community.

Our growth into new sectors was about building a dependable infrastructure. Every expansion was a response to a specific need of the region.

When the area needed better educational facilities, we stepped in to manage the Shree Vidyavardini Educational Academy in Pal, Gargoti. Our focus was simply on stability and standards, which eventually led to the institute receiving NBA accreditation.

The same ethos applies to our water and energy projects. We noticed pilgrims traveling on foot had no reliable source of drinking water, so we restarted a defunct local plant to serve them. It is now a functioning bottled mineral water supply plant. When a nearby petrol pump closed due to administrative issues, we resolved the regulatory gridlock to get it running again.

Our Belief

We operate on the conviction that if you solve a problem for people, the business will sustain itself. Our sustained effort in the upkeep of the ecosystems we inhabit is supported by the belief that prosperity should never come at the cost of the natural environment.
