How is Bauxite Mined?
We utilize open-cast mining techniques with heavy earthmoving machinery, focusing on horizon control to minimize waste and maximize alumina content.
Process

Survey & Planning
We conduct geological mapping and core drilling to identify high-alumina zones. A detailed mining plan is generated to ensure optimal extraction ratios and minimal environmental disturbance.

Controlled Mining
Overburden is carefully removed using excavators. The ore body is extracted using precision blasting (if required) and heavy-duty rock breakers to maintain specific lump sizes.

Screening & Cleaning
Extracted ore is fed into jaw crushers and vibrating screens to segregate material by size. Impurities are removed to ensure the chemical consistency required by metallurgical plants.

Storage & Dispatch
Finished ore is stockpiled by grade in designated yards. Dispatch is managed via our weighbridge-integrated logistics fleet to ensure on-time delivery to refinery gates.
